#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Error {
Overrun,
Noise,
Framing,
Parity,
}Expand description
A line error the receiver reported for one frame.
The portable classifications are one kind call away:
embedded_hal_nb::serial::Error::kind and embedded_io::Error::kind.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Overrun
A frame arrived before the previous one had been read, and was lost.
Noise
The sampling logic disagreed with itself about a bit’s level.
Framing
The stop bit was not where the configured frame said it would be — usually a baud rate or frame format mismatch between the two ends.
Parity
The parity bit contradicts the data bits.
