Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Overrun

A received word was overwritten before it had been read (RXORERR).

ModeFault

NSS was pulled low while configured as a master (CONFERR) — another master is driving the bus.

Crc

The received CRC does not match the one computed locally (CRCERR).

Framing

A frame boundary arrived where none was expected (FERR), which only the TI frame format can report.
